Visa dialogue Senior Officials’ meeting took place on 18 May 2009 in Brussels.
The parties were represented by Mr.Yelisieiev, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Mr. De Brouwer, Deputy Director-General, DG Justice, Freedom and Security, European Commission.
The parties took stocks of the first round of expert meetings in the fields of document security, illegal migration, public order, external relations and agreed on the next steps to be taken to develop the dialogue.
Ukraine-EU Visa Free Dialogue was officially launched on 29 October 2008.
